Goal: Goals #1: Create a space that allows for
family functions without separating the family in two separate rooms. Remove
the diving kitchen and Dining room wall to allow for a conducive family
space.
Goal #2: Create a functional fun Kitchen while
incorporating Purple, Green and Yellow as the main colors with resale value in
mind
Results: Modern French Quarters meets Mardi Gras flair. The
open kitchen invites interaction between guests and the cook. The open kitchen

maneuverability, while large windows at both ends of the home allow natural
sunlight to pour in, reducing the need for constant artificial lighting. The stools
around the main kitchen island welcome homework and convivial conversation with
the cook. Modern French Quarters meets Mardi Gras as a theme predominates,
reflected in the colors and materials found throughout all parts of the home. The
Uba Tuba Granite countertops and Elkay Avado stainless steel sinks in the
kitchen were chosen for their durability and function. The backsplash anchors the
unity of colors and ties both rooms together. The custom design crystal
pendants sparkle with elegances.
